Operation Christmas Child
🎁 Operation Christmas Child – Pack a Shoebox, Share God’s Love
This season, we’re partnering with Operation Christmas Child to bless children in need around the world. Here’s how you can be part of it:
Grab a shoebox – We’ll be handing them out at Arise Church (Arc of Hilo, 1099 Waianuenue Ave, Hilo) after services on Sunday, October 12 & 19.
Fill it with gifts – Choose an age range, then pack your shoebox with toys, school supplies, and other small treasures that will brighten a child’s life.
Include $10 for shipping – This helps cover the cost of sending your box to its destination.
Return your shoebox – Bring your completed shoebox back on Sunday, November 9 & 16 after our 7:30, 9:00, and 10:30 AM services at the Arc of Hilo.
Each shoebox is more than just gifts—it’s an opportunity to share God’s love with children across the globe who are in need. Together, let’s make an eternal impact!
Feeding The Hungry
Let's serve our community.
Join us as we feed our Downtown Hilo homeless community every second Sunday of each month. We deliver food and the good news that they are loved by an amazing God. If you would like to get involved, meet us in front of Connections Public Charter School every second Sunday of the month at 12:15 PM.

Food, fellowship, and faith! Join us for Men’s Breakfast on October 25 from 7:30 to 8:30 AM at the Arise Church Office (458 Ponahawai St, Hilo, HI 96720). It happens on the last Saturday of every month.

Membership Class
If you call Arise your home church, take our upcoming Membership Class and join Arise Church’s family! Joining Arise Church is like becoming part of a family rather than just a member. It's about moving from being a guest to taking on responsibilities, like in your home. Instead of being served, it's about serving and using your talents to build and bless the church, like contributing to your family's well-being.
As Arise Family, you first acknowledge that you are part of God's family and choose to willingly enter into a covenant with this local church family (Arise Church), committing to a higher degree of responsibility.
REQUIREMENTS OF JOINING THE FAMILY
Confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Agree with the Arise Church Statement of Faith and Core Beliefs
Evidence of a consistent and fruitful Christian life.
Currently not a member of another church.
Completion of Next Steps.
A signed commitment to abide by the Arise Church Family Covenant.
Must be at least 15 years of age.
Must have attended Arise Church for at least three months. (An active member is someone on record giving at least once every two months and consistently attending either in-person or online services)

Arise Youth - Winter Retreat
Hey Parents!
We’re thrilled to invite your student(s) to our Youth Winter Retreat at KMC, January 16–18! This isn’t just a weekend away — it’s a chance to slow down, unplug, and grow deeper in their faith and friendships.
All throughout Scripture, God meets people when they take time to step away and reconnect with Him. We’ve seen the same happen with our students — retreats like this often become powerful turning points where faith becomes real, friendships strengthen, and hearts are renewed.
The cost is $185, and we truly believe it’s an investment that lasts far beyond the weekend. We pour so much into sports and activities so our kids can grow — this is a chance to invest in their spiritual life, something that impacts eternity.

Men’s Work Day
🌿 ARISE MEN'S WORKDAY – TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23 @ 7:30AM
After men’s prayer, we’re rolling up our sleeves and getting to work. Join us for a hands-on morning of lawn mowing, weed whacking, and trimming as we prep the grounds for our future building. It’s all about sowing into what’s coming next — together.

Foundations Discipleship course is a great resource to guide you through the entire Bible, connecting its stories and revealing God's redemptive narrative, fostering life transformation with age-aligned sessions from the Bible Engagement Project.

Membership Class
If you call Arise your home church, take our upcoming Membership Class and join Arise Church’s family! Joining Arise Church is like becoming part of a family rather than just a member. It's about moving from being a guest to taking on responsibilities, like in your home. Instead of being served, it's about serving and using your talents to build and bless the church, like contributing to your family's well-being.
As Arise Family, you first acknowledge that you are part of God's family and choose to willingly enter into a covenant with this local church family (Arise Church), committing to a higher degree of responsibility.
REQUIREMENTS OF JOINING THE FAMILY
Confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Agree with the Arise Church Statement of Faith and Core Beliefs
Evidence of a consistent and fruitful Christian life.
Currently not a member of another church.
Completion of Next Steps.
A signed commitment to abide by the Arise Church Family Covenant.
Must be at least 15 years of age.
Must have attended Arise Church for at least three months. (An active member is someone on record giving at least once every two months and consistently attending either in-person or online services)
Membership Class will begin at 6 PM at the Arise Church Office.

Feeding The Hungry
Let's serve our community.
Join us as we feed our Downtown Hilo homeless community every second Sunday of each month. We deliver food and the good news that they are loved by an amazing God. If you would like to get involved, meet us in front of Connections Public Charter School every second Sunday of the month at 12:15 PM.
